Following the loss of the portable pc at the airport, Paul has bought a new one in Ft Lauderdale.
He called me up to tell me there was a IT manager on the ship that would help him set up his new machine to work n the on board WiFi. So far (5 Days) I do not have any news.
Next year I will go and work on one of the Holland America Line boats as it seem the IT there is not that impressive !
Can you imagine, teaching old folks to write emails to their loved ones while travelling the world (and be paid for it), can't think of a better job :-)

Newsflash

As most of the text is written in dutch by my mother and then typed in the PC by my father (censorship !), I thought it would be useful to have some translations of the texts for everyones enjoyment.

You will notice in the upper left side of the screen a set of small flags, just click on the flag you wish to read and enjoy the text.

As with all automatic page translators, the result may not always reflect the reality of the texts, I was quite shocked when I read in the english version that Paul had suddenly turned grey after the trip to the US. When in fact the text spoke of his suitcase.

So be warned, it could lead to some interesting discussions
