Its big departure day for Jos and Paul, off to the round the world trip starting tomorow.
In order to allow everyone of their friends to follow them I have gathered some of the information that is usefull to get in contact with them. You will find it in the pages below.
COMMUNICATION AT SEA
Hereunder we have compiled information to use as a guide for communications withj Jos and Paul during the boat trip.

MOBILE PHONE (GSM):
The best way to contact Jos and Paul is by contacting them on their via eMail, considering that they might have a large time zone difference between Europe and the boat. If you need or want to talk to them directly you can contact them directly on their normal GSM Number. Roaming charges will be billed to them so be aware of the costs it may induce… you can also send them text messages (SMS).
EMAIL AND INTERNET:
Guests on board the ms Amsterdam can send and receive email in real time via satellite link 24 hours a day (satellite conditions permitting).

Internet is accessible from workstations on board or from a personal laptop (Paul forgot his at the airport but might get a new one in Ft Lauderdale)

PARCELS: Sending parcels is discouraged due to unpredictable transit times. To minimize inconvenience to the guest, it is advisable not to send parcels containing dutiable articles.
REGISTERED LETTERS: Sending Registered letters is discouraged and may take much longer in transit than ordinary letters; therefore such letters should be posted earlier than usual. Usually, registered letters cannot be delivered to guests on board the ship and a personal visit to the local Post Office is required,
POSTAGE: Please verify with your local Post Office that the correct postage is affected to any letters. Otherwise, they may be delayed or returned to sender.
LETTERS: Letters should be sent via airmail to the address of the applicable Port Agent well in advance of the scheduled date of arrival indicated on the itinerary. All airmail envelopes should be addressed in the following fashion:
